How can AlterGold be trusted after this? And other news...

Three days ago I received mail from AlterGold announcing (to my amazement) that e-Gold funding is available again! This decision seemed odd having in mind that as of end of June it is virtually impossible to exchange e-Gold for anything else. The real shock came with their announcement about suspending withdraws through LibertyReserve, perhaps the most popular payment processor at the moment! Here is the entire message:

You can now fund your account by using E-gold, this transaction can be done fastly from your "Account Home". Just go to "Add Funds" and choose E-gold as method. Most unwise, both of these decisions. But what is worse, today when I tried to actually fund my AlterGold account throught e-Gold, I found out that there is no such option under "Add funds"! No announcement was made regarding this either at the site or by mail. Highly unprofessional conduct. But that is not all! Option to fund account through e-bullion is still there although this processor is most probably gone for good - one co-owner stabbed to death, the other accused for it, as well as the (obviously false) announcement still on their site:

As for other news, one good: 13DailyProInstant is still paying instantly and growing at a steady pace; and one bad: ProfitFamily.com turned SCAM - do not spend.

As there is no way of knowing whether e-Gold will survive and resurrect or fold in, and having in mind that at this moment it is not possible to exchange e-Gold for any other currency, the question is what to do with e-Gold you have left in your account while waiting for this situation to resolve?

Option 1: Leave your e-Gold in your account balance

Chances are that value of e-Gold will drop. Choosing this option you are bound to loose at least a portion of your current balance.



Option 2: Invest your e-Gold

If you choose this option your money will grow during the time you can't do anything with it anyway. Obviously, there is a risk involved - the investment program you choose may fold in at any moment and you can loose it all. On the other hand, with any luck you can make a nice profit.

E-Gold: New Account Creation & Instant Exchange Suspended

Important news about changes in e-Gold operation.

As a result of US Department of Justice intervention regarding criminal abuse of e-Gold, effective immediately new account creation has been suspended.

Also, autoexcangers have been requested to cease supporting exchanges to or from e-gold for the time being.

The following provisions are being added to the e-Gold User Agreement:

2.3. User agrees to not use e-gold in any manner that violates the laws of whatever jurisdiction to which the User is subject.

4.6.1.1. If e-gold investigators reasonably suspect that the e-gold account of User is being used to launder the proceeds of crime or for any other criminal purpose, Issuer may freeze the e-gold account and any other e-gold accounts of User. Additionally, at the sole discretion of Issuer, User will be subject to damages and other penalties, including criminal prosecution where available and the notification of the general public of User’s actions, at the sole discretion of Issuer.

Additionally, in about 6 to 9 months new feature will be implemented with aim to enforce a "one-human being/one e-gold User" rule which will enable e-gold to expell a User for criminal abuse of the system.

Liberty Reserve - Waiting for Prolexic

Admin of Surf15x10 has done it! Site is up and running after only 4 days of downtime, which is truly amazing having in mind that both database and e-Gold account were hacked, and that Admin also managed to switch hosting provider. Here is the latest update from Admin:

Surf15x10 is clearly managed with competence, in very professional manner and by a person with integrity, which is all very rare these days. If you are not already member, perhaps you should consider joining. The plan is 10% daily for 15 days, upgrade unit is $2, and referral commission 5%. Liberty Reseve - Finally Online!

Liberty Reserve is finally online, after almost 5 days of downtime. Would have been a good news if some people did not report they have lost all their funds. Someone suggested that perhaps we should wait a bit before checking our accounts. I don't see how that can help, though. Sorry for spreading rumors, but you can't be too cautious these days.

The Suspense Is Killing Me

The Drama at Surf15x10 caused by Liberty Reserve outage goes on.

While most members are supportive there are also few of them screaming "Scam". This is definitely jumping into conclusions, having in mind the impeccable paying record of this program - instant payments for two full months, not to mention that Admin was very supportive and cooperative during that time. And keeps being so in spite of series of problems hitting his program. First LR went down but he kept paying vie e-Gold, then his e-Gold account got hacked, and the last straw was hacking his database. Here is the latest update from Admin, posted at MMG:

I have remove the database , it was hacked too and now I am changing the host and will be back with the last backup (as of 1st MAY), there were only few pendings for e-gold and about 25 members were paid before we lost the DB.

Meanwhile Libertyjoin is still paying instantly for a full month now. Number of members report being paid also via LR despite the outage. Looks like LR is regaining at least partial functionality - SCI interface seems to be working in spite of site being inaccessible. Not sure if this is possible. Liberty Reserve Outage Continues

Liberty Reserve still down for over 40 hours due to DDoS attack. Again. Once too often for my liking. Payment processors are not expected to be so sloppy in security department - reliability is a must for a Digital Currency. Not that there is no solution. Having engaged DDOS protection service, from Prolexic for example, could have helped.

It is quite predictable that this prolonged outage will cause at least two things:

1) Quck migration to other electronic currency (like E-Gold, Pecunix, AlterGold, AlertPay, V-Money, etc);
and
2) Numerous auto-surfs and hyip-s unable to switch quickly to another digital currency - will fold, as they depend on constant flow of new upgrades.

On the brighter note Libertyjoin continues paying instantly for 34 days now. They are accepting both e-Gold and Liberty Reserve and offering 25%-27% for 5 days (depending on chosen plan).

Situation at Surf15x10 (15% for 5 days) is rather complicated. Some members on MMG are reporting to have been paid (via e-Gold) although the site is not quite accessible. It is not quite unaccessible either. On home page it reads:

Table 'surf15_e590084w.user' doesn't exist

Main menu and ... ah ... background are intact. It appears to be some script-related problem. It graves me to see this excellent performer (paying instantly for over 60 days) shaking.

PTR and Paid-to-Promote programs will be less affected - unlike autosurfs and hyips they do not have daily payment scheme, much less instant payment scheme, nor they (presumably) depend on upgrades.

Speaking of Paid-to-Read programs, PlusBux will be unable to make payments during next 3 business days due to a problem with AlertPay account. Namely, it is - pending verification! "We are not closing, we are serious PTC." One should think that serious PTC would have verified AlertPay account before starting a business...

PersianPTC is rapidly climbing on my Top-List. Having in mind that the program started less than a month ago, their Site Statistic is more than impressive: Total Users : 11,235. On the second thought it is no wonder: links are 1c - 5c, and there are usually about 10 banners to click daily. They are paying $0.2 - $1.00 per signup, 25% referral commission and low $7 min. payout (up to 48h) via e-Gold and PayPal.

Hopefylly it won't be long before Liberty Reserve is up and running. Here is the latest update:

Bump In The Road - Surf15x10

After paying instantly for two months this excellent program is facing some difficulties. As if the ongoing Liberty Reserve outage did not hurt program enough, another problem emerged. Here is the latest update from Admin:

we have a small bump here.
our e-gold account got an attack and it is now with 0 balance.
we lost here about $800 but we still have good amount saved in an other account.
i need you all to suggest me here what to do next.?
i have some options and would like to have your too.
Option # 1- we can stop using e-gold at all and only work with LR or some other PP.
Option #2- we change our e-gold account and start using other one.

what i think the best option is No.1 members can provide their LR account and that can be set for future payments.

Brainstorming is on its way as I write this. For the time being, Admin announced that auto payment and e-gold upgrades are disabled. E-gold users need not worry about exchange fees, just supply LR account.

The way Admin is dealing with this calls for respect. There is a lot of potential in this program and my expectation is that this bump will remain - just a bump in a road.

I am confidant that Admin of Surf15x10 will handle this with the same competence he demonstrated in some other issues and that the program will continue paying for a long time.

Liberty Reserve Under Heavy DDOS Attack

According to their official blog, Liberty Reserve is down for over 24 hours now due to heavy DDOS Attack. This relatively new payment processor is considered to be, if not a successor than by all means a valuable alternative for E-gold. Having in mind that E-gold is blocking numerous accounts of participants in HYIPs and Autosurfs and is under investigation ever since StormPay dragged down 12dailypro, perhaps it would be good idea to switch to other online payment processors. If you need a reliable exchanger, you may wish to consider using SuperChange as their transactions are instant.

My Simple Formula For Risk-Free Online Earning

If you are looking for big money in short time, this is not for you.

If it is fun for you to enjoy the excitement of investing into HYIPs and Auto-surfs for cash and eventually make few bucks, than read on.

• Problem:

It takes money to make money. There is also a risk of loosing money.

• Solution:

Do not gamble with out-of pocket money. Earn money with GPTR and Paid-to-Promote programs, than invest earnings in HYIP & Autosurf For Cash programs. This takes time, though.
